Bay Area Donation Station Inc. is a donation company in the Bay Area serving San Francisco and the neighboring cities since 2017. Strategically located here in Richmond California, our scope of service is from San Jose to Santa Rosa, Napa Valley, Livermore, and Oakland.
We recycle and reuse what people, like you, donate for the very same reason we believe you have – to reduce waste and help Earth maintain clean air. We believe that recycling will not only help reclaim some of your needed storage space. But it is also one way to advocate responsible recycling habits.
Your donation could be someone else’s sought-after things. We receive donations from generous people like you and offer it to others. That’s our goal.

Your donation could be someone else’s sought after clothing or shoes. We collect donations of lightly used clothes, shoes, and other household items from generous people like you. We want to be the bridge that connects and offers it to others for reuse. That’s our ultimate goal.
Thanks to Carlos Tejada and the team who works tirelessly day and night to piece this company together. Carlos carefully brought together a team of hardworking people to make this once only a vision into a full operation company.
How It Started
Carlos Tejada, the owner of Bay Area Donation Station Inc., came to the US in 1985 as an immigrant. He started from the bottom as a dish washer and worked his way up to be the senior chef in Burlingame Country Golf Club in San Francisco California. However in 1995, his longing for success didn’t stop, only just got bigger and stronger. He then founded a successful vending machine service company in San Francisco and the Bay Area California, Tamalpais Vending Co.
Shortly thereafter, he got married, have 2 wonderful kids, and started living the American dream. However deep inside, he knew he has a higher calling. More than just having an American dream. Passion and helping others have always been his strongest trait. He is always looking for ways to channel his blessings through him to others.
Then in 2017, his idea of collecting and recycling clothes started to sprout. This was when he jump-started Bay Area Donation Station Inc. as a startup company in Richmond California. Now, we have been successfully collecting in San Francisco and the Bay Area for over 5 years and counting.
With Carlos and the Bay Area Donation Station team, together we collectively built a solid foundation that keeps the company going forward stronger and bigger. Please reach us if you have any questions here.
Our Commitment
If you are looking for a donation pick up in San Francisco or the Bay Area, we offer great programs to schools, offices, apartment complex, and other facilities that desire to advocating going green and responsible recycling initiative.
Our donation collection bins/barrels are compact enough to fit any available indoor space you want to dedicate for recycling. Depending on how frequently it gets filled up, we will pick up as often as we can. We have highly trained drivers assigned to unload these barrels for you.
We, as a collection and donation pick up in San Francisco company here in Richmond California, would like to lead by example. To show that together, we can achieve fresher air and cleaner Earth.
We accept lightly used clothing like jeans, shirts, shoes, hats, belts, bags, bathing suits, jackets, and more, for donation pickup or you can also drop it off (during our business hours).
Tidy and gently used clothing if what we prefer, but we will gladly accept what you have! We will sort it out for you and will do our best to make the most use of what you donate.
